How Important is Your Health to Your Business?

Do we always have to talk about real estate sales, marketing, buying, selling, and making money/profit every single day? Well, this is a subject that is rarely talked about in real estate blogs. I want to go against the grains and let everyone know (well, you already know), that “Without great health, there is no wealth”. As a matter of fact, it really doesn’t matter how wealthy you are until you know how healthy you are. Your wealth is meaningless if you don’t have great health and get to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

“Man builds great wealth at the expense of his health, and then he spends his wealth trying to gain great health”. Sadly, this is true. No matter what your position, degree or intellect is… whether you are a king, a president, a prime minister or a professional sports player, an actor, a director, a movie star or a superstar… when your health deteriorates, it is not prejudice; it treats everyone equal, whether you are sitting in the king’s castle or in the streets of Bombay. Therefore, it is very important for us to keep healthy so that we can keep our wealth and enjoy our children, grandchildren and even perhaps great grandchildren. It is possible by taking the right steps in the right direction. If your goal is to help others, whether it is buying/selling homes, other business ventures, missionary work, volunteer work or hundreds of other jobs… as long as you are helping another fellow human being, then you are in the right path.

However, time after time, I have seen good-hearted people fall prey to failing health. I believe that, for us to serve others with passion and commitment, we need great energy, a clear mind and a happy heart. It is not possible to help others if your health is wearing you down, making you feel depressed and hopeless. You may think that there is no way out except to take pharmaceutical drugs. Well, that is not true at all.

There are many natural remedies, herbs, fruits, vegetables, and healthy grains that are full of life to give us great health and a long life. Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not totally against pharmaceutical drugs, but most of the time, it is not a necessity to be running to the medicine cabinet for every little ache and pain. If you know what causes that health problem in the first place, then it is better to eliminate that from your diet than to take drugs instead. Here lies the problem – most people do not want to make the change, thus not eliminating the root cause of their health problems.

Taking charge of our health is important to all of us. No one knows our health better than us. A doctor only goes by what you tell him and what you ask him to do for your health. I came to find out the reason why doctors prescribe medications. It is because most people do not want to give up their favorite snacks, dishes or sweets. We hold the key to our great health. Doctors know a lot about health, but they are not God.

We must take control of our own health. You have the power to change your health, reverse disease, symptoms, and yes, without pharmaceuticals. However, you must be willing to change. Changing one’s lifestyle is one of the most difficult parts of gaining great health. However, it can be done if you want to live a healthy life. Great change requires great sacrifice.

You may think that in order to make a change, you have to eat like a rabbit and give up your favorite dishes or desserts. All I am asking you to do is to incorporate healthy alternatives to your eating plan on a daily basis. Perhaps, drink a glass of freshly squeezed juice in the morning instead of 3 cups of coffee. Maybe don’t eat late at night. Maybe have an apple instead of a candy bar. If you have migraines, drink fresh green apple juice instead of aspirin. These small changes can make a big difference in your health and help you live with less pains and aches.

Please remember this important point – whatever your body is not able to metabolize properly, it gets stored in your tissues and causes arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and many other inflammatory diseases. Once those toxins are moved out of your body, you gain back your health, which is not difficult to do at all. It’s having discipline to change and being consistent every day of the week, no matter how difficult it may be for you to keep up.

As most of you may know, I am a raw vegan about 90% of the time. It helped me tremendously for my health, My energy is back. My allergy, high cholesterol and high blood pressure are completely gone. High triglycerides, anxiety, nervousness are also gone. My vision has improved. I lost 30 pounds and been keeping it off for almost 4 years now. Most of all, cancer disappeared in 3 months.

Remember, there are many diseases, but only one cure. That cure is the food that we eat. Change your food to change your life! I am very passionate about having a healthy eating lifestyle. The power is in your hands, in your head and in your plate to make the change and take back control of your health and keep your wealth!
